I worked for both parents when I was a teen. One of my brothers had an attitude when working at my father's firm, which lasted for about ten minutes, when he realized that his surname on the letterhead meant nothing in terms of the respect he was demanding, but had yet to earn. Teaching respect for others and their roles in the organization and outlining clear responsibilities would be an important concept that I would teach a child.
For me, sometimes my parents were competing for me, such that I had to schedule them in the summer, balancing the needs of my mother's practice with my father's firm, and the roles that I was given in each.

i was adopted, I don’t regret any time spend with a woman who cares about me enough to take me in as a preteen and knock me down a few pegs. I had a lot of attitude that needed redirected, but she stuck with me She busted my ass More than once, pissed me off, but she is an amazing mom❤️. One day I’ll own that restaurant.

absolutely! I still have a lot to learn. She runs stuff like Ramsey so it’s learn or loose your head. But you get amazing lessons, and great skill.

I probably would've done the same thing as her if my kid didn't get it together after a while. No matter who your boss is, you still have to put in work!

So you were a teen when this happened. Do you wish she had spanked you instead?
