Seems like Baby-trump accounting where he claims his properties are the best in the world... until it comes time to pay property tax on them and then they are valued as among the worst.

They make a lot of profit.
AWS is where they make most of their money. - Their web services.

@ImplodingVoices Amazon has hardly made any profit since the company started and in the last two quarters, they had negative earnings which puts them on track for a loss for the fiscal year. The stock is way overvalued and that's how Jeff Bezos became the world's richest man.

@Shapeshifter They did lose a lot of money in doing upgrades. you know they are taking over a large portion of their own fulfillment rather than relying on fed ex and other services. In the last two years they have built, throughout the country, at least 4 new fulfillment centers and are looking to expand elsewhere.
Also, you must not realize what a cash cow AWS is for them.
Also, one key reason for the stock to go down is it is that time of the quarter for employees to sell off their stock - it ALWAYS falls when its employee sell off time.
There is no reason to be concerned at this time for the stock going down.

Maybe some of the money has been siphoned off to avoid extra taxes.
