@LeopoldBloom By examining some of his other posts he apparently is incorrectly using the word "liberal" to refer to CNN-like establishment neoliberals. So, he has a point, because people who genuinely believe that shit are not much better than Trump. In some cases, they're even worse.

@MarmeeMarch Well personally I believe it's not so much democratic or republican so much as it is establishment or populist. I know the word "populist" has been overused and watered down but essentially I want a president who is not beholden to corporate interest. I'd prefer them to be a leftist, but I'd still vote for a populist right winger over an establishment leftist because at least I know the rightist would be antiwar and not sell away everything to corporate interests.

@MarmeeMarch I live in Chicago, which is technically the Midwest but a lot of people don't count it because it's such a large urban area and "Midwest" usually is used to describe places like small towns in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Indiana.
