Have you heard any rumors about a possible economic collapse in early 2020?

Please provide details on what you have heard.

You're kidding right ???

Trump BORROWED the largest sum in recorded U.S political history because nobody was investing.
He then threw it at Wall Street expecting them to produce jobs; orders; trade deals etc. and they didn't !

The E:U is currently dealing with at LEAST three countries who have had to borrow money on a massive scale just to stay afloat ! Italy; Ireland and Greece.

South America is currently dealing with poverty on a huge scale since the current economic slowdown began. Almost six years ago !

So yeah ! BIG problems coming up in the not too distant future !

There has been a worldwide dept crisis looming now for decades. The GFC fix was botched by America and only a bandaid solution provided. The world economies agreed to turn a blind eye and act like nothing was happening and now stats are worse than before the first time out. All it is going to take is for a trigger, like a bank becoming insolvent or a recession bought on locally in a major economy to tip it over. Frankly I am surprised it hasnt gone already. The overblown Stock Markets are certainly expecting it and the interest rates dont have the cushion to stop it.

I’ve heard it’s been coming every year from the time I watched the news which was in the mid 90’s.
Has there ever NOT been a rumor about impending economic disaster? Especially in an election year...

I know Democrats would sacrifice their mothers to have it happen

Berkshire is cash heavy right now bit then it’s lagged behind the index of late.

And also SW is s terrible place to discuss serious topics, as you can see from the responses.

@SW-User I think some of the responses are serious, such as yours. Some are clever.

Yes. The federal reserve cut interest rates for the second time last month. Interest rates aren’t cut unless there is a possible recession looming.

Every year, we're told it's coming... along with that huge meteor and the Yellowstone eruption!

I've been told there is an economic disaster coming ever since I could understand the news.
