Have You Ever Walked Into A Grocery Store And Bought Something You Thought Was The Meat Of An Animal... And It Wasn't?

The very powerful meat industry, has done and are attempting to pass laws forbidding the use of labels/words like "veggie burger" or "vegan hot dog" on plant-based products. They SAY that it is confusing or "deceptive" to consumers, even though every plant-based "meat" product has meatless plain as day somewhere on the front of the packaging.

I'm all for less fake shit in the grocery store. That would include "meatless meat".

@Sicarium Well, there has always been what could be considered "fake shit" in grocery stores though, and just to be clear...plant-based products are not labeled as meat.
