Were you ever brave enough to try to win the heart of your early school crush?

I didn’t have any school crushes. None of them were appealing enough and my goals were different to most of the kids my age that time. I was very focused. They all were very mainstream and boring. I always had my things outside school or workplace, but I never went looking for any.

I plucked up courage and called her.
We spoke for about 3 hours on the phone.
Apparently the interest was mutual but she made it clear that she wasn't dating as a principal , so I guess it was a no :(
