I wish people would show an interest in what really happens when we die (how this is reasoned). No trolls, though.

@Success The edit makes more sense, I was about to ask you how you were an expert on what really happens when we die!
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success What happens when we die?
Success · 26-30, F
@ViciDraco I am an expert. I've learned from the best.
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie We're born to a new set of parents on some distant world, and obliquely become ourselves again. That's the short answer.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success Kinda like reincarnation but different?
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie Only in the sense that multiple lifetimes are proposed. Reincarnation (Hindu) and Rebirth (Buddhist) require magic. Eternal recurrence is founded in nature.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success More like returning to our Heavenly Father?
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie No. That would be more in line with what faiths teach. Recurrence (modern understanding) is about an infinite series of different and worthwhile lifetimes, with no final outcome.

@Success Really 🤔
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success And each time we are reborn we are in a different world? Is there an infinite number of worlds or is it possible to return to one we’ve already lived on?
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie It's a different world each time- given that there are well arguably an infinite number of peopled worlds.
lj7093 · 26-30, M
@SimplyTracie I think new life is like new book ...
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success Ahhhh. Do we remember our former life? Or is it all brand new?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@lj7093 Maybe just a new chapter
lj7093 · 26-30, M
@SimplyTracie brand new
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@lj7093 You know this? How?
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie Memories are irretrievably lost. Yet the id is fully restored through equivalent memories. Who needs all the baggage of previous lifetimes anyway?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@lj7093 Do you and Kel have the same teacher?
lj7093 · 26-30, M
@SimplyTracie 😂😂 definitely not
lj7093 · 26-30, M
@SimplyTracie Do u believe in next life ?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success It would be awesome to keep some. But starting over doesn’t sound bad at all.

What’s the purpose of rebirth into a different world? Why not just start over in this one,
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@lj7093 I believe in eternal life in heaven.
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie You speculate that we could have a choice in the matter. We don't. In order for recurrence to work it has to bow to the random doling power of nature/chance.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Success So life goes on and we die. Then we are born into a new human with a fresh start. Does our current life choices make any difference in our new life? I strive to be a good person and there are others who murder or are corrupted. Everyone gets a fresh start with no history?
Success · 26-30, F
@SimplyTracie Right action definitely counts. Think of it in terms of preparing a good world for arrivals from other worlds. I know you're familiar with the golden rule. Now imagine it increased infinite fold. Yes, everyone gets a fresh start- and has equal access to good things over the course of multiple lifetimes.
