Ugh...no men are not supposed to hold their feelings in.
As a female growing up with 3 sisters(no brothers) in the 60's and 70', it was our stay at home mom who TRIED to teach her girls to keep our FEELINGS to ourselves...whereas it was actually our "toxic masculine" Marine Sicilian dad who taught his girls to be tough, to express our "feelings" and to never back down to a bully... thus our "Masculine toxic" Dad being the biggest/greatest influence to my sisters and I to become strong minded independent women.

@Foodface My Marine dad was my HERO growing up....he was tough as nails as well as a kind man....where he taught my sisters and I how to verbally fight back to a bully with our wit, BUT also taught us that if talking it out didn't work out while trying to reason with that bully and they still want to fight you....this is the type of ONE punch that will knock that bully to the ground being embarrassed, and will never ever want to mess with you again.
This is the advice my Marine dad gave to his daughters back in the late 60's...eh now if a Marine gave the same exact advice to his girls in 2019... the snowflakes in our country would call that CHILD ABUSE, thus DEMANDING that the DOD release this monster with a DISHONERABLE discharge, smh.
