Why do some songs give us goosebumps?

Here's mine. I hear it, get very still and quiet. My wife once asked me why. I said because I don't want to disturb the angel that's singing.

@xixgun When I was in the fifth or sixth grade, we had to learn an entire song IN GERMAN. I believe the title was "You'll Never Know I Love You" (English translation). When we couldn't get the German accent right, she made us learn the English version. When we had that down pat, she returned to making us learn the German version again. We were never very good - and I made the mistake of mentioning the song at the dinner table. For weeks afterward, Grandma (who was German and Dutch) kept after me to sing it. I didn't want to, much - then.
