I actually helped a friend on a psych experiment based on this back in college and spent two nights keeping track of how many guys came up to her with and without a wig.
She did a little better as a blonde, but it wasn't significant.
What was significant was the time of night (and probably how much liquid courage the guys had in them).

@Zonuss One man had the job of hiring student dispatchers for the evening shift & he almost always hired a blonde girl. And he鈥檇 go to basketball games & other places with them. His wife divorced him 3 times & remarried him each time & ended up divorcing him again & made it permanent.
