I still don't understand why they'd want to leave the EU exactly but it seems like the people voted to leave and the government should comply with the people's wishes.

@Doomflower They didn't tell the whole story including the implications and consequences of leaving. There was only a 4% difference but the government had to accept the vote. The 'then prime minister' (prat) was confident it would be a 'remain' vote.

@Moonpenny hmmm. Obviously I am not informed. I would think there are very few downsides to an alliance with other countries around you.
its because your committed to give your money to the EU and then it gets redistributed.. as socialism goes. Only a few ‘wealthy nations’ are coughing up. And it’s given to the members who don’t throw in their share.. or stolen by greedy leaders. you lose industry and any means to be self sufficient and haemorrhage tax dollars.

Just like the Paris accord.. only a few members actually pay. A lot get to pat themselves on the back for simply being members. No bugger knows where the money goes.

Just like trump telling every bugger to cough up their military spending.. because America isn’t paying any more. It’s all a big scam.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout thanks for reminding me that humans are garbage. I hope the whole thing burns down.

@Doomflower That's what I think but not the 52% unfortunately.
