People want to see chaos. It's voyeurism. These same folks spend time watching reality tv for the same reason.
That and potus believes things out loud that his cultists used to quietly believe. Now they too have permission to do it out loud.
He has that charisma that newly followed cult leaders possess. Something about a narcissistic fool, blathering on about how everything is some one elses fault....frees folks up to do the same.
