Do you think The cable news outlets are biased and being unfair to Trump?

Imh, the mainstream liberal media is attacking Trump just like the mainstream conservative media attacked Obama. And I absolutely dislike Obama, can't stand him but media bias is on both ends. The liberal media does have an edge on the conservative media but it's not that much of an edge because while cable news is dominated by liberal news networks, the right wing dominates talk radio.

No I don’t think so. Their job is to report the comings and goings of the President. Trump feeds the media. If he doesn’t want the coverage he should stop talking and tweeting. He honestly should just work harder and get smarter.

@SimplyTracie you have a lot to learn
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts The media reports what he says and does. That’s their responsibility. No? Your job is to dig a little deeper to get the back story.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie The media has commentators who also analyze what he says and give their opinion. If the media were just reporting the facts, they wouldn't have half of America believing Trump colluded with Russians. There is biasness on both sides, come on. The US media is polarized. You can easily see it and most Americans know that.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts They do report the news as they see it. Don’t tune into late night commentary. Read YahooNews or whatever your choice is. Forbes is a good source - crazy that they follow what Trump is doing daily.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie Sometimes hate can blind us from seeing The truth. The truth is that cable news networks are owned by Wall Street corporations. Warner media , for example, owns CNN. It's owned by at&t. Disney tried to purchase foxnews but fox only sold them 20th century. They are owned by people who want to influence American thinking. You sound read up on media bias and social engineering
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts If much of the media is owned by Wall Street, why isn’t there more positive news about Trump? I mean, Wall Street loves Trump.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie Trump's money isn't even tied up in wall street so why would Trump care about wall street? His money is in real estate... and wall street controls both parties. The big corporations paid the same amount of taxes under Obama as with trump because of loopholes that exist in The tax law. I mean, Obama bailed out wall street so they loved him more.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts How many of Trump’s cabinet come from Wall Street?

How much of Wall Street depends on Trump’s policies? I’m sure they cater to all president’s so they will do their bidding. Trump would be beholden to them should they suck up to him. (That is if Wall Street isn’t corrupted)
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie Obama's cabinet was created by Wall Street
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts You wanna talk about Obama now? You’ll have to post your own question/story. This one is about Trump. Sorry.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie I believe my post was about the fact that all media outlets are biased. Just as the conservative media attacked Obama, circulated rumors that he was a Muslim, and wasn't born in The United States. You're the one who said wall street was pro-trump, and I said that wasn't accurate. Wall Street is made up of many different Investors who fund both parties. Obama received more funding from wall street than Trump.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts I also asked why (if Wall Street controls much of the media), isn’t the media saying more positive things about Trump. It would behoove them to do so wouldn’t it?

That way Trump would dismantle the EPA regulations so that corporations would make more profits. Right?
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie because investors on wall street have different interests and different objectives. EPA regulations doesn't affect all of wall street. Big oil and gas, sure, but there are thousands of corporations and investors who control wall street so they all had their own agenda. Jeff Bezos Is the richest man in the world and he's anti Trump, isn't it?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts Of course Bezos is anti-Trump; Trump hates him more. 😝

Wall Street doesn’t influence the administration. Is that what you’re implying? It doesn’t matter who is in control of the media - they report as they see it.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie They report what they want to report. They focus on the bad news. Why is it you rarely hear about anything good Trump is doing. How many times did they report on Trump's signing a law that reduces sentence for nonviolent criminals? They report what they want to and they put a spin on it. All of them do. You probably don't ever watch foxnews or listen to talk radio but they do the same thing when they defend Trump. CNN brings economists on the show that will say the economy isn't doing so good and foxnews will bring an economist on the show that says The opposite. The news isn't just the news. It's full of opinions, predictions and even rumors these days.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts But that’s my point. Why don’t they? You said that Wall Street controls much of the media and Wall Street needs Trump so why not say good stuff about him?

Oh I do listen to Fox News.

And I have read about Trump’s First Step Act. I also read about Trump commuting Alice Johnson’s sentence. Which I object to.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie because they're liberals like Jeff bozos. Why would liberals support Trump? Most billionaires are liberals
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TruthHurts Really. I thought they were mostly conservatives.
TruthHurts · 36-40, M
@SimplyTracie it's not all about money to them. It's also about power and influence. Look at J.D. Rockefeller. He was the richest man ever. The first billionaire. It's estimated that he would have an equivalent of over half a trillion dollars in today's money but he spent a lot of his money on charity and to further his agenda.
