Is it ever acceptable for a partner to tell you who you should or shouldn't be friends with?

If she doesn't like them, fine, I don't have to bring them to her face. If she doesn't stand them I'm not going to force them to hang with them. But my friends are my friends, and it is my choice who I keep as friends.
