I remember when the word moist was used to describe Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines cakes, now it’s considered vulgar and cringey.
It is? Why didn’t you tell me? @cherokeepatti

@Mamapolo2016 😂 Did some young people laugh and snicker when you used that word?
It so happens I have never liked that word. It’s a creepy word, even when it means what I would have meant if I used it. Which I don’t.

I bought a mint plant from Walmart which came with the instructions “Keep moist.” Should I file a complaint?@cherokeepatti

@Mamapolo2016 It’s only creepy if you have a dirty mind. Moist vs. soggy which may kill it.
It doesn’t creep me out because of the definition - it’s the sound. I have the same problem with ‘select.’ A writer thing, maybe. @cherokeepatti

@cherokeepatti Yes, I used to think of cake when I see or hear that word now perverts bastardized the word

@Ewitsu That’s a good way to describe what they’ve done.
I hadn’t heard. I have my filters set to “Sesame Street.”@cherokeepatti
