@SolGryn It's been the opposite in my observation. The only person I know who had to really lie to win was a 28 years old poor guy who had an IQ of 80. My uncle had yo lie about his abilities to get him employed.

They believe they are impressing people. If you're re going to lie, you have to be a good liar. Most people aren't and people don't take much notice of them when they realise.
