Swallowed a soda tab by accident?

Hi guys,
So I have this odd habit of playing with the aluminum soda tabs that come on cans. I accidentally broke it off into the can, went to the restroom came back and took a quick swig of my soda only to feel the tab slide down my throat.. total accident. I don’t have insurance currently so going to the er is the last thing I want to do. I tried to throw it up, tried to eat etc.. drink water.. well here I am at 5am so so worried with a mild to moderate cramps in my intestine area that haven’t gone away mind you. I am so worried and freaking out. I know none of you are doctors and that these things CAN be quite serious. If it doesn’t feel better in a day or so definitely going to the ER. My question is, have any of you ever swallowed anything like that? Is it normal to have mild to moderate cramps while it passes? Obviously if they don’t go away or get worse I’m going to hospital, but would be so grateful if any of you have been through something similar share you’re experiences. Thanks so much

Honestly, come to me when you have to worry about paying the massive ER bill...You’re 18 you’ve probably never had to worry about actually having to pay a hefty bill like that in your life... or worked hard to build credit over the past years etc..I just want to know what others peoples experiences are because guess what? If it’s a normal thing to have mild cramping then yes, I won’t be going to the ER.. at least not for a couple of days u less it gets worse.so what?@SW-User

Mild to moderate cramping isn’t in pain. I’m sorry but there is no excuse for telling someone to go enjoy dying. Im definitely not worried about dying, but the idea of having to have emergency surgery to get an aluminum tab out. Y’all are ridiculous. I was asking for experiences from others in similar situations. Please troll elsewhere - and read next time! @JT123

Hun, you could never get under my skin. Sincerely, I hope you guys remember this experience when you are 30 years old. Life is completely different then. Bills to pay, mouths to feed...you don’t just run to the ER for being worried especially in this case because there is truly nothing they can do except watch and wait, I just had an ER doctor (my brother n law) explain this to me over the phone. FYI cramps ARE normal during this process I was told. Sharp pains no. Cramps yes. @SW-User
