Why do some people not like to explain things to others

Like if your discussing something with someone and you didn't get what they meant. They just get an attitude and say just forget or never mind.

Sometimes they can’t explain it. They have a general idea about something but can’t break it down. And being asked for clarification is when they realize that they don’t actually know. 🤔
