Honestly, if you're a man that has sex with women, you've already accepted responsibility.
I think that if they want an abortion and the woman doesn't, they should leave. But that doesn't clear them of their responsibility. At the end of the day, it's their semen that impregnated the woman.
If a guy wants to avoid the responsibility of a child, they can just not have sex. Or get a vasectomy. But I don't think that they have the right to request an abortion when it's not even their body that's pregnant.

I do see your point. Mine is that a woman who had consensual sex has a legal recourse if she does not want a child. A man doesn’t, and they both knew pregnancy was possible.@SW-User

@SW-User Yet, alternately, she can terminate his child whenever she wants to (within legal limits) and he has no say or rights.

@Mamapolo2016 Yep. But the man isn't carrying the child. They don't have to experience childbirth, or carry that child to term. Therefore, it isn't an option that's available to them. I think the only way you can make it even, if it makes sense, is to create a way for a man to void his financial obligations by saying that he doesn't want to be a father in some legal way before the sex. Then the man doesn't have to be responsible for the child if their partner gets pregnant, and as long as the sex is consensual, and the woman agrees to that, then there shouldn't be a problem with her choosing to get an abortion on her own. Whereas a woman against abortions can either choose to not have sex or have it and not abort her child if she wants.

@Quizzical yeah cause it's her fucking body, you trying to argue that women should be tied up and held captive and forced to carry their unwanted babies full term, or that women should be forced to get abortions by assholes who won't get a vasectomy, don't want kids, and just go around getting women pregnant? it's not about the man, he's the one who's pregnant so it shouldn't be up to him

SW-User
@Quizzical He isn't carrying the kid. So he has no say in whether or not someone else chooses to.
