Have you ever hit your car with an animal?

This reminds me of telling my kids when they misbehaved to run themselves into my hand. It was always laughs and daughter would actually do it but the message was understood and behavior always improved.

Personally I did my best not to but a deer insisted in continuing to cross a highway as I nearly went all the way off onto the unpaved embankment and left a small red streak from its nose on the rear door just below the windowline in the paint. I never did get that mark out of the paint. Deer whistles went on the vehicle as soon as I could get them and the same pair of whistles have been on each subsequent vehicle for almost 4 decades now without a single other animal ever catching my vehicle.
