Let them give me a potassium infusion, never ever. It was the most painful thing I've experienced in all of my life. I don't care how many bananas I have to eat, not going through that again. 😡

Yes!!! I second this! I took magnesium and potassium pills in the hospital for 6 days, every couple hours and still ended up having to get it through an IV! I felt it go into my hand, up my arm, and into my chest. I was actually crying 😭

@amser I can fully understand you crying from the pain, it's excruciating and the worst I've ever experienced. I was supposed to receive 3 bags of potassium but after 2 hours of agony, and only 2 bags, the nurses decided they couldn't let me go through it any longer and refused to give me the third. Thank goodness for that.
