This is a side bar to your question but you know what's sad? I was going to respond about how these episodes w/people escalate more often than not because people just won't shut up...but I know haters will come at me. I personally don't think they roll out every morning looking to abuse people....if they pull you over, just do what they say and lawyer up...don't fight. BTW-my dad was a cop and I support the guys in blue!

From any isolated particular incident - probably not, any more than anything can protect you from a criminal with a gun except having your own gun.

But if it’s a pattern of abuse, yes, there are avenues. In a car, if you are concerned about your safety - call 911 and tell them you are driving - slowly - to the nearest police station or other well-lit place with witnesses.

Yeah, I don't break the law and when told to do something I do it and don't threaten them. I'm perfectly safe.

No, some not all are bat shit crazy. The blue code protects a lot of them. I don't know what the solution is.
