No, not particularly.
"Understanding" always seems to want to lead us to 'understanding that it's not really the fault of the shooter / bad guy. In the past, they've even tried blaming some of the real victims - people that got shot, cuz they weren't nice to the jack wad that shot them!

What's to understand? Crazy people hurt other people. Often we know that people are crazy BEFORE they hurt anyone. And liberal bleeding hearts prevent society from protecting itself by masking the potential dangerous characters.

We can't count on first responders like police to do the right things. Like that dumb ass cop that waited outside for backup while the shooter was killing people inside.

The progressive left fights the concept of allowing willing and able teachers to be trained and armed.

Until society clearly understands that we need to defend ourselves and our children - expect more innocents to loose their lives.

@Budwick How can we get more innocents to tight their lives? I hope that doesn't involve a gun.

I'm assuming a typo and should be 'fight for lives'.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but progressive left is resisting a conservative group that goes to schools to train kids how to fight for their lives. Not martial arts or anything like that - and certainly not guns, but to be aware that they have options beyond crouching and waiting to be be executed. They teach them when to fight back, and with what and how - using things that are always in class rooms like books and chairs, etc. When to hide and where. When to run. Common sense stuff - resisted by the left.

@Budwick You may have misunderstood what I was trying to point out with this. I'm not condoning or pushing blame. People are directly responsible for their own actions. But the media pushes the ideas into the public eye where the ,already sick, people can think to copycat others foul actions. The example of suicide was just where I saw a direct connection to the mass amounts of this happening all of a sudden.

@Dainbramadge I understand. I apologize if I came off as if I were coming at you - that was not my intention. I agree that the media has a lot of blame in the mess. I think your ideas are right on - I was trying to expand on it. I hope we're good.

@Budwick Yes sir we are very good. I was afraid that I didn't get the point, I was trying to, across and that I was going to look like a dork because of it. LOL. Thank you for your response.
