How do you create your username?

Mine is my old nickname from uni. I was called Glossy because I was always wearing glossy lipstick. It was the big fashion, then.

Mine started as traurigerpanda on EP, which translates to sad panda in German (trauriger Panda haha). One of my friends in college had asked me to translate it, and it just stuck in my brain. :) Also a really hard word to say!! :|

Serial Experiments Lain is my favorite anime; the main character Lain has an alter-ego "Lain of the Wired". My name is Lane. The rest is history.

Mine is a song title. I chose it because I happen to share both my first name and my birthday with the singer.

There is a bit of optimism or a new opportunity to try something new.

Try choosing people you really like or really don't like and give thrm a nick name. Then use that name.

I stole it from someone on another site. I thought it sounded cool.

I have had this username since way back in the old irc days. We had a dog named Goliath that would climb up into the crook in a particular tree and go to sleep with his legs hanging down. He really did climb the tree. That tree was always the Goliath Tree, even after he was long gone.
