Why do some older people on here feel the need to use age as an excuse to gain superiority over younger people?

I don't know. Personally I've got a burr under my tail when I think about anyone who feels that wearing the mantle of victimhood or special class status entitles them to be abusive.

@SW-User Agree. I see this happen all too often. Someone acts like a loud mouthed a-hole, or does something horrible, or is insulting, and if you try to tell them they're wrong to behave that way, they suddenly join a special, protected victim group.
