When you have blood taken, how many tries does it take them to either find a vein or get blood from it?

@Baybreeze @NativeOregonian when I would get an IV in the hand in the past it would hurt like hell. But today for some reaason it didn't hurt as much. Maybe because it was my fifth needle of the day, I was becoming immune lol

I used to shoot up in the hand when I had too many goes at the elbow. Used to feel freaky if I hit a bone 😬@Baybreeze

Nah that part of my life is over, and truly behind me. I’ve been clean for two years except a couple of pokes over the New Years holidays without it becoming a habit again.
I got too much to live for to go back there again. I have a few health problems today because of that habit. @Baybreeze

I got clean to save my own life and found my soul again along the way.
With some health complications that still affect me even though I’m clean.
Now that I have a lot of good going for me in life, I’m also dealing with health scares on the behalf of that toxic habit. @Baybreeze

Nothing life threatening, except higher risk of heart attack, mainly stomach ulcers and bowel tissue damage, more annoying if anything.@Baybreeze

@SW-User I know that sometimes they put people at risk for heart attack or stroke on aspirin...maybe you can check at next Dr appt🍀
