Anyone else have dreams like this?

Finding treasures (things that you like), in creepy huge houses with hidden rooms?

It's almost like getting to explore run down mansions with hidden rooms and filled with all kinds of things that no one is using. Beautiful materialistic things..... You are super excited about them, too. So you create a nice sized pile of stuff and then you wake up empty handed.... :/

I had found a really nice/huge wooden canopy bed (Don't ask how I moved it...lol) and piled all sorts of goodies on it. Then I wake up with my hopes and dreams literally crushed. Haha.

My treasures were always in quantity - bountiful quantity.

The caps - for a capgun - were all mistakenly marked '10 for a dime - at the store and I bought them all ...

I found a gumball machine where if you put a gumball in the place where the gum comes out, all the money would come out of the coin slot. I was pretty flush with cash ...

I also found some buried coins, but the hole was like one at the beach where water seeps in soon as you empty it - but this hole kept refilling with coins. I was delighted 😏

Haha. Well we know that moolah is on your mind. Isn't finding treasure the best feeling ever??!! Until you wake up and your pockets are empty!

I own and live in a house built in 1880 in the Southeast USA, I have similar dreams often. It is thought that there may have been a second floor to my large farmhouse prior to the Civil War,and I often dream of a primitive elevator and going up to the second floor and finding all kinds of different things, different rooms, sometimes I am argued with by what appears to be ghosts over whether I can own the upper floors,or just one or two of the rooms, etc. This has been going on for almost 20 years, these dreams, and I have found an old part of my house with the perfect dimensions for an old elevator to have been at one time, also found shutter holders for upper windows that don't exist.

Thanks for sharing. There's a sense of euphoria when exploring the unknown and then finding things, like you stated above.

I have dreams where I go back in time and rescue valuable art and manuscripts and other treasures seconds before they are lost for good to war or fire or lawlessness. Does that count?

It does. You're exploring time and finding treasures!

No, but that sounds like a seriously kickass dream.

They really are. I also recently had a dream of just exploring the house (didn't collect anything), and opened a hidden door in a closet, to see a huge water slide (the size of a local wal*mart lengthwise) and dropped for half a mile, into an even larger pool. It was sooo weird and awesome.

I haven't watched tv in over a year. Lol. I could only imagine what the dream would have consisted of, if I did watch reality TV, though.
