@soulsrespite Neither. They don't exist at all. They're computer-generated by artificial intelligence given the task of making a human face that will fool humans into thinking the face is human. It's pretty amazing, isn't it?
@soulsrespite It still scares me a bit. I was also hesitant to post this in case catfish use the images (because they won't show up in Google image search).
@soulsrespite It's funny you should say that because I was convinced that I might have met her. Although I kept thinking she looked American and I'm not American, so I didn't know how.
@soulsrespite Wouldn't it be scary if they were all real people and the AI computer was just stealing their images and pretending it was generating them?
how can it be sure that this person had not ever existed? in the past or does not currently? not everyone uses social media.. it could probably generate someone’s doppelgänger. @jomsim
@soulsrespite I think so too. And I think there are so many humans alive that loads of them probably look very much like each other and the people in the pictures. I've had whole conversations with people who thought I was someone else.
