@Quizzical I've wondered that before...like if they're a British citizen are they then African-English?

@UckfayOuyayOotay I think they tend to refer to themselves as British, unless filling a form out 🤔
@UckfayOuyayOotay they're British afro-caribbean because we acknowledge that not all black people are African.

@Quizzical That's sorta my point. Why only in America is there a special designation?
[@Mainly because in the U.S. we didn’t know. People who emigrate to the U.K. know they’re from Trinidad, Ghana, Nigeria, etc. “African American” was originally the designation specifically for people descended from African slaves. Newer immigrants call themselves Kenyan-American, etc.
