Conservatives want that, yes.

@daisymay That's what I've been seeing, but I'm trying to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I really hope we can all learn from our mistakes. I want us all to be truly FREE.

There are at least two things wrong with this.
1. Conservatives don't make mistakes. If they ever admitted they had made a mistake, everything they've ever espoused could be brought into question. As the holiest of people, they couldn't possibly ever be wrong about anything.
2. Conservatives can't learn. Learning implies being able to accept new information and/or changing your mind about things you thought you knew. See #1.

@daisymay I don't share such a dour view on people. I believe they're essentially good, and want good, and to do good. Of course, I'm schizophrenic, and that's classified by delusions... I'm also terrified that everyone wants to kill me, so there's that.

@thedevilsdagger Have you ever seen a conservative admit they were wrong?
thedevilsdagger · 41-45, F
@daisymay I don't know. I don't honestly pay attention to the labels "conservative" or "liberal", because I've discovered that I'm much more "liberal" than even the "liberals" would like. I'm an anarcho-socialist/anarcho-pacifist. I'm... weird. I guess.
