I dated a woman with BPD. She was a pain in the ass. I have a friend who has BPD and she has her moments when she is an ass but we're still friends. I think both of them also have bipolar disorder.

@Benjamin83 Good for you. Ask them if your therapy is DBT.
Good luck and be well.

@quitwhendone thank you.

I treat that. Try to not think in black and white but more gray areas. Every one has good and bad. No one is all good, or all bad. Also it can stem from abandonment. Don't take things too personal ever. People are not jerks just busy, and have their own crosses to bare.

Also think like this about everything, "I can handle it, it will be ok, not a big deal." Also count your blessings every day. Think about good things, meditate, exercise, and eat healthy. God loves you 🙂

@Carazaa thank you for your lovely comments. I meditate every day and focus on my art. Im getting through each day one at a time. I go to my appointments and dont miss my medications.

I don't personally, but my youngest brother was diagnosed with it about four years ago. It seems like a tremendously difficult thing to deal with. :/

@thepreposterouspanda yeah it is very hard to deal with. I try my best every day but feel as though im fighting a losing battle. I just go from happy to sad, from calm to angry etc out of knowhere. No inbetween.

Same here but I have what’s considered “quiet BPD”
Benjamin83 · 41-45, M
@kxtrinx whats quite BPD. Are the syptoms the same. 😊
kxtrinx · 22-25, F
@Benjamin83 it’s very similar but it’s more internalized
