Ladies how do you get used to the pain of wearing high heels?

I'm 26 and still haven't got the hang of it. Flats and sneakers all the way.
Those of you who wear heels are secretly wonderwomen.

I can wear high heels and and both run and drive in heels no problem,but I prefer to have my feet bare.
