Has social media impacted your real life in any way?

It has kept me more in touch with others (as I tend to keep to myself when left to my own devices). I have become more aware of what was going on in the lives of friends and extended family (whether that be finding out about deaths/illnesses or about weddings/graduations). I have even been able to attend a couple of functions I might not have been aware of had it not been for the internet.
In a sense the internet has brought people closer.....but on the other hand, there’s so much out there that it becomes confusing and at times even misleading. Like anything else, I thing social media/the internet is a tool that can be used to our benefit, but a tool we must use carefully.
