The social networking aspect of it has. That is not this site but EP, the early days of 2006-2011 were.
As I said in my about me I am an LGBTQ+ and mental heath awareness advocate. (two separate issues) I can't be that here. In the blogging network however I know I can affect others so their lives mat be easier.
About the only true way it has affected me on a daily basic is that through youtube and other video music outlets music has come into life I may have not otherwise heard. In that sense I am richer. Seeing as how long threads can be on those pages it qualifies as social media.
