Did your mother ever tell you that there were starving children in China when you refused to eat a certain food that she served you?

What was the food that usually got triggered that question?

When Dad ran off. Mum had gotten a Greek lady to look after us after school till she got off work. She told us it would be a great insult to refuse food from a Greek person. Mum really knew Fuck-all about Greeks.

@Thevy29 I love Greek food. My daughter had a babysitter from Venezuela, only 3 hours a day but one day she told me “Your daughter is so good to eat everything I offer her. I made little bake empanada meat pies and she told the lady “My mom makes these but she puts apples and raisins in them.” Those other 3 boys always turn their nose up and say “yuck” at what I offer them. I asked them what their mother feeds them and they say “McDonald’s food”...she was a manager at a local McDonald’s.
