It means a very long time.
As in
"It would take a month of Sundays to clean up that mess."
Some people try to be literal and imagine it means thirty or so months.

@Llort I’m retired....I don’t have a work week. Monday is in 3 days. I actually usually prefer Mondays to Fridays these days.
Well you have 28 more Fridays in a consecutive row... Sorry for the bad news bust most of us are happy about it
