When will we finally achieve world peace?

Probably never. If we did achieve it, the things you'd have to do to get there would be just as bad as conflict, if not worse.

Every tyrant in the world promises peace and every utopian idea requires oppression. And neither is wrong. If we all bowed to the tyrant, there would be peace. If we all sacrificed our individuality, there would the utopia. And neither would be worth it.

@Sicarium That is one way to view it. Aren't the possibilities infinite though? That is my belief, but I know that a utopia is nigh impossible.

@dyinggirl I don't believe so. We're a product of evolution, I don't believe in a creator. That alone limits the possibilities. Nature is violent, evolution rewards aggression and expansion. Combine the two and that alone will gaurantee some level of conflict.
