When will mass shootings not be a regular occurrence in America?

I often feel ashamed of being an American. I'm ashamed I live in the same country with people that won't blink an eye when so many people are gunned down, but will freak out when you try to control the problem.

Why are we like this? When will this stop?

Those people probably didn’t feel like they had a choice. It was a matter of self defense or mental illness.
