To do well in life, you mean? I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, but the difference is pretty important in this case. You can do well in life without ever learning to read, if you're lucky/sexy/clever/funny enough. You could theoretically just make YouTube videos of yourself saying/doing funny stuff, pay someone to handle the finances and technical stuff, and eventually graduate to making your own website. You'd need to be an absolute comic genius for that plan, specifically, to work though.

@BrokenWhiskeyGlass3 If you're charismatic, kind, and sensitive enough, that's less likely to happen though, and if you're lucky it simply won't.
