Does it ever seem as though the proud, loud and wrong are rewarded more often while the humble, thoughtful and wise are often maligned?

What's that old saying?..."the squeaky wheel get the grease". They get more attention, appreciation, and even reward that's just the way it is and always has been.

I wouldn’t say they are rewarded. I would just say the selfish are just that... selfish.
