@Synyster The fact is this political and economic tight rope act is global, at least with elected democracies, globally at the moment. We all have our thoughts about the reasons. But the result is that a $h*t storm of varying degrees is coming for us all. Here are a few general tips. Be in as little debt as possible. Be in as secure an employment and living situation as you can, and be prepared to wait it out. Its not the end of the world. But it could be another global depression and people will get hurt.

Couldn't agree more and we are heading into a recession, possibly as soon as early 2020.

@HerKing In America maybe. Not in Britain. If there was going to be a civil war it would have been over the Scottish independence vote. Parliament was quite sensible in not giving the English a vote to see if they wanted to keep the Scots.😉

@HerKing I get that. Heres my take. As bad as a No Deal deal will hurt, sticking in the sinking ship of the EU will be worse long term. The EU set the price of leaving ridiculously high to scare the Brits back into line. But it was high enough to make a No Deal exit good value. The EU countries fork over repeatedly to bail out their failing members and thats not changing any time soon. France is slipping and Merkels retirement will shift the German position to the right. This is a ship Britain doesnt want to be on in the coming years. Plus, there is money to be made by rich parties in Britain and Europe in the re writing of the rule books a No Deal exit will cause.
