Not sure if I'm coming or going, can't say I get bored....once it's sorted out, life will be very humdrum....lol
Nimbus · M
@Platinum That could be two years hence, lol.

I could always work out what was going to happen, but now I'm lost...lol@Nimbus

@Platinum Once we get through the circus performance of this part, the really serious stuff starts. If not handled well (and the situation so far is not encouraging) that could really polarise the people.

@Platinum Will this help?

Not really, even my sat nav takes me the wrong way....😹@Nimbus

@whowasthatmaskedman I can see another referendum and probably fiddled and remain winning and then uproar ....
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Platinum Its possible. But since doing nothing could trigger a no deal Brexit in a few weeks, it all depends on how much colour and movement it takes to keep the people distracted. Remember, when the rule book gets re written , it wont just be some rich English people who profit . A lot of rich Europeans stand to make a lot of money and have an interest in the No deal being completed.,

@Platinum As long as it sticks to uproar and doesn't escalate to civil war.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@HerKing In America maybe. Not in Britain. If there was going to be a civil war it would have been over the Scottish independence vote. Parliament was quite sensible in not giving the English a vote to see if they wanted to keep the Scots.😉

@whowasthatmaskedman I'm an expat living in the US but I still have family and friends in the UK, I'm genuinely worried for what could happen.

@HerKing I get that. Heres my take. As bad as a No Deal deal will hurt, sticking in the sinking ship of the EU will be worse long term. The EU set the price of leaving ridiculously high to scare the Brits back into line. But it was high enough to make a No Deal exit good value. The EU countries fork over repeatedly to bail out their failing members and thats not changing any time soon. France is slipping and Merkels retirement will shift the German position to the right. This is a ship Britain doesnt want to be on in the coming years. Plus, there is money to be made by rich parties in Britain and Europe in the re writing of the rule books a No Deal exit will cause.
