Can you easily spot a narcissist?

@ChiRho I think so. I think once they fact check everything you say, let you know what your opinion is, tell you how superior they are to everyone around them and reminds you that your only value is in what you can do for them, then you know.

@TwiddlerofThumbs Strangely enough this person is a bit quiet. They don’t really show that they’re self absorbed if you didn’t know them. But after talking with them they don’t seem to have a sense of self. And I’ve called them on a lie they told and they almost lost it on me lol

The ones I know wont lose it. they might get very angry, depending on the lie I'm calling them out on, but for the most part they let me know how wrong i am and explain to me all the ways I am wrong, and foolish for even thinking such a thing. Even with evidence and no way to back out of it, Silence is how my father reacts. Arms folded and angry, if he can't find a way out. Which is rare. making up your their facts is a common out.
But I imagine it has a lot to do with the lie, how they were called out and to what extent it can be seen that they are in the wrong.

That makes sense. I guess the reason they might have gotten so angry is because I did it front of one of their friends. Anyone else of would have objected and maybe had a comeback but they just got visibly upset and closed off. Then when I tried talking to them again they raised their voice almost to shouting tone lol @TwiddlerofThumbs
