Do you think that such campaigns are effective and can influence your own behaviour?

The government often uses hard-hitting campaigns against cigarettes, drugs and drink-driving. What do you think?

I think people are going to do what they want to do. So does the government, that's why after a hard hitting (and expensive) campaign by the government that is promptly ignored by the public, they begin to tax at ridiculous levels certain goods and services as well as creating laws to make such behaviors inconvenient (example: "No smoking within 20 feet of door")

Addictions are hard to break. I don't know how effective they can be.

Those things just don't sink in for me. I wish some of them would.
Yes, younger generations are less likely to smoke and drink drive
