Are your pets demanding?

I’ve been taking the birds out to the sun room after it warms up each day. They started begging to go out before I even got up out of bed this morning. Non-stop chirping.

Mine used to get me up at dawn.

@SweetMae If it’s not extremely hot I’ll take them out early in the morning or take them out about 7 p.m. and leave them all night so they can wake up when the morning birds start chirping, usually about 30 minutes before daybreak. Then bring them back inside about 11 a.m.

@cherokeepatti You are very good with birds.

@SweetMae I’m happy when my birds are happy.

Yes, they all communicate with me effectively. My chickens won’t shush until I mind their daily needs.

Doggos follow me around relentlessly, they’ll jump or bark at me whenever they want my focus.

I find it very sweet that they literally follow me and watch me until I am able to sit and cuddle them.

Your little parakeets are nagging you! 😂 My cat nags me, too. I spend a lot of time on the computer, and not a lot of time petting him, and apparently he absolutely NEEDS to be petted. He will sit next to my chair and stare at me, and if things are really bad he will start the most annoying sort of yowling meow over and over again, (that sound means he wants to "nurse" on my legs and be fed immediately after about 10 minutes of slavish petting), and if I get up from the chair he gets right under my feet and nearly trips me.

My rats and dogs are pretty demanding. My badger rat Luca has a thing for dumping out all of her food and banging the bowl on her cage just so she can be let out. My other pet like my geckos, cat, and horses aren't demanding.

@cherokeepatti I rather deal with the squealing of an animal rather than, the sound of plastic hitting metal, and her dragging her bowl up to another layer of her cage just so someone will pay attention to her, she's out 3+ hours a day usually. None of the others are as diva-like as she is.

@Davin Had a rabbit would would bang his coffee can back and forth on the sides of his cage when he wanted water...I’d be standing there watering tomato plants and he would be raising hell with that can. I went over and filled it up and all the water drained out. They were my ex’s rabbits and he only watered them once every two days and I didn’t realize it till he did that.
