Are you worried about the possibility, that math teachers might take over the world some day?

Fifteen billion math teachers on planet Earth.

Each of them giving the rest of us fraction calculations, phone bills to sum up, quantum theoretical calculations.

Could there be worse? Even Skynet is simple to deal with.

You have to have at least some small amount of sense to be a maths teacher.

If maths teachers took over the world, I would be *much* more confident in their leadership than I am in the mess we have right now.

@clooo Sense? Since when has teaching required any sense?
clooo · 22-25, T
@ZonkeyBalls Since it required a degree and specialised training. I've had many bad teachers in my life but they were just either crappy people, or bad at communicating. They weren't lacking sense and intelligence.

@clooo Who needs sense and intelligence to teach?
clooo · 22-25, T
@ZonkeyBalls Anyone who wants to teach. You have to get a degree, successfully go through training, get hired, and stay employed. Doing all that without sense is essentially impossible.

@clooo No, if you just bribe somebody fairly enough.
clooo · 22-25, T
@ZonkeyBalls Would someone without sense be able to 1) afford to bribe someone or 2) actually get away with bribing someone?
ZonkeyBalls · 46-50, M
@clooo Yes. Most mental patients do that.
