People hate Trump b/c he can't be bought and isn't politically correct but is correct about what he says.

Trump speaks the truth and it hurts people. He is loved by the silent majority and will most likely win a second term

My claim is that there has never in history been an American President so completely attuned to and directed towards HIS own interests as opposed to the countries. Further there has never been a politician so deterermined to feed his base the s**t they so want to hear.

@monte3 except obama?
monte3 · 70-79, M
Huh?? I expected a Clinton reference but Obama? @MasterLee
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@monte3 either.

@monte3 Your claim is self-contradictory, not mention that it doesn't actually say anything meaningful. You're twisting what every politician does into a vague negative because you don't like the guy.
tennisdad · 41-45, M
@Sicarium Don't be mad at him. It's liberal logic...it's not supposed to make sense!..lol
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@tennisdad Freaking truth.
tennisdad · 41-45, M
@monte3 People like you should really campaign harder in 2020! It has to be upsetting to see Trump win against a seasoned politician, like Hilary
MasterLee · 56-60, M
The real problem with liberal 'logic' is it is constantly changing.
doughgirl · 51-55, F
@MasterLee WRONG! It never can change because it doesn't exist!LOL

What do you find self-contradictory? If what I said is not meaningful than this entire thread is even more so, there is the false equivalency argument: all politicians do IT and Trump is no different, but Trump IS different. All politicians lie, but Trump tells the truth less than a broken clock. All (or most politicians dislike negative news, Trump rails against free speach. He wants to have retribution against satire for example. @Sicarium
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@monte3 huh?

@monte3 I think you're drinking Koolaid!

What do you find self-contradictory?

Not a question of what I find contradictory. I said it was self-contradictory. And your claim, that Trump is both attuned so drastically to his own interests (whatever that means) and at the same just telling his base what they want to hear (meaningless trite from you) is self-contradictory. It cannot be both. Trump cannot be only pursuing his own interests while at the same time appeasing his base.

If what I said is not meaningful than this entire thread is even more so

Non-sequitur.

there is the false equivalency argument: all politicians do IT and Trump is no different, but Trump IS different.

That isn't what I said, you're intentionally distorting my comment to fit your own narrative. That isn't me making a false equivalency argument, that's you being dishonest.

but Trump tells the truth less than a broken clock

Meaningless trite.

Trump rails against free speach

No he doesn't. That is a lie. He rails against fake news. And free speech does not mean you are free from criticism. By criticizing fake news, Trump is not limiting anyone's speech. To claim otherwise is a lie.

He wants to have retribution against satire for example.

No he doesn't. He's never said that. He's never implemented a policy to do that. Baseless accusation.
