Begging choosers annoy me.

You get something for free, but you get upset when it's not good enough for you?

I was raised that it's rude to even refuse a kind gesture or gift. Damn people weren't even raised to be thankful for the gift itself.

Many people don’t appreciate free things anyway. For some, part of the value is that they earned or worked for it. It’s a paradox, that. 🤔
@bijouxbroussard I don't always appreciate the thing itself, but I appreciate the value someone else has in it.... Even if it is little to them.
My husband was talking to a friend of his who owned a couple of appliance stores and asked what they did with appliances that were traded in when the owners traded up.

He said, "We used to put them out front with a "Free for the taking" sign, but nobody would touch them. Now we just put them around back by the loading docks - and people think they're stealing them."

😂@bijouxbroussard
@Mamapolo2016 I guess on some level they see that effort as “work”. 😅
Good point. Not charity, anyway.@bijouxbroussard
