We need more stuff to do here for when its boring but what?

Every site has down times. I think we just tend to look back on them with rose colored glasses.

What happen to the games idea?

It might be your age.... Last time I tried anonymous social chat before SW (I did find EP once but never signed on) I was 16-22 with newsgroups and irc. It felt very alive to me at that time, I haven't found that same kind of engagement here. Almost anything 'social media' (which NNTP or IRC would have been) are essentially passive in activity.

I think EP had a few more users, and times have changed too....

I think the app allowed more users to experiment with the site.
