Anybody know of same day transportation besides a taxi or uber?

I have an appointment today and completely forgot about it. it wasn't on my calendar. And I didn't get a reminder until the same day.

As I recall back in the olden days we had a thing called a "taxi". Legend has it that one can still be summoned through a system known as a "phone call" 😂

@Zaphod42 lol. I don't have the funds for an expensive taxi right now. that's why i specially asked ' other than an uber or taxi' It's a med appointment, but they offer free services.

Going to have to phone a friend or family member.
You could call the office of where your appointment is at and see if they know if a local church or other organization offers rides for medical appointments.
